式典参加Ceremonies & Events

歴代の当主が大切にしてきた、全国の神社・お寺との絆。その御縁を受け継ぎ、お招きをいただいた式典や法要には、できるかぎり足を運んでいます。
日光・久能山・上野・広島の東照宮、寛永寺、二条城、増上寺など、徳川ゆかりの地での例祭や修復の奉祝、除幕式、藩校サミットまで。歴史を守り伝えてこられた地元の皆さまに、直接ご挨拶ができる大切な機会だと思っています。
ここでご紹介しているのは、その一部です。写真をクリックすると大きくご覧いただけます。 I carry on the bonds that successive heads of the family have kept with shrines and temples across Japan, and I attend ceremonies and memorial services to which I am invited whenever I can.
From annual festivals and restoration celebrations at Tokugawa-related sites — Nikko, Kunozan, Ueno, Hiroshima, Kan'ei-ji, Nijo Castle, Zojo-ji — to unveilings and domain-school summits, each is a chance to greet in person the local people who have protected this history.
